Immediate position available in Sales Management
Tremcar is the largest tank trailer manufacturer in Canada. It has seven plants and five service centers across Canada and the United States and we continue to grow and expand. Our subdivision, Tremcar West, has two service centers in Western Canada, one in Saskatoon and one in Edmonton as well as a tank trailer leasing company located in Edmonton.
We are now looking to hire a Senior Sales Representative with experience in the tank trailer industry who is interested in a long-term investment to fill the position in Western Canada. Visionary projects are on the table that will lead to management opportunities for the candidate eager to devote himself and join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Extensive travel throughout Alberta with the occasional seasonal trip to British Columbia, Southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing clients
- Expand and evaluate new prospects to grow our client base
- Provide support and customer service before and after sales
- Demonstrate and educate the mechanics of Tremcar tank trailers and equipment as required
- Assist with product promotion
- Consult with sales team to analyze performance goals and objectives
- Forecast and analyze market conditions to ensure accurate inventory projections
- Report competitive pricing back to head office
Skills required:
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Experience in all types of aluminum and stainless steel tank trailers including Dry Bulk, Petroleum, Crude Oil, Chemical, Food Grade
- Knowledge of Petroleum truck mount tanks and equipment as well as stainless water tanks
- Marketing and management skills
- Computer skills
- Excellent writing and verbal skills
- Ability to acquire new skills
- Personable
