Responsibilities:

  • He is responsible for reading plans and specifications for the assembly and welding of the various components of the tank.
  • He must ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with the required quality criteria.
  • He must perform any other related task requested by his immediate superior.
Qualifications:
  • Must have excellent attendance
  • The following qualifications are not necessary to be consider for a hire in position.
  • The candidate will have to pass one or both test as part of their training for them to move up.
  • Candidates will have to take a similar in-house welding skill test to be considered for a barrel welding position.
  • All welders must have their weld gear with them as a part of the interview process.
    • 2G Horizontal Mig Aluminum
    • 3G Vertical up Mig Aluminum
  • Able to climb a 6’ ladder
  • Be able to climb a 6’ ladder periodically
  • Be trained to wear fall protection when required
  • All tools are provided as well as toolbox (Requires a Sign Off Sheet)
  • Read a tape measure
  • Read and understand basic blueprints (We Provide Tremcar Blueprint Training to Barrel Welders)
  • Be motivated and able to trouble shoot issues that arise
  • Cannot be Closter phobic
  • Must be able to move in and out of barrels in a timely manner
